TGR includes Telemetry Sub (TMS) and Gamma Ray Logging Sonde (GRS). It is used for data transmission and GR measurement. TMS is an important sub for data transmission. It demodulates commands from surface system and transmits them to respective logging sondes. Meanwhile, it modulates the signals acquired by the logging sondes and sends them to the surface system. GRS is used to measure natural gamma ray emissions from the formations. GRS adopts scintillation ***ector to ***ect natural gamma rays.
